Dialectical Behavioural Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a type of psychotherapy originally developed to treat borderline personality disorder, but it's now used for a variety of mental health conditions. DBT focuses on helping individuals regulate their emotions, manage distress, improve interpersonal relationships, and develop mindfulness. It combines acceptance-based strategies with change-oriented techniques, acknowledging that two seemingly opposite ideas can be true at the same time.
